Dr. Calderwood is a native to North Idaho. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Idaho and received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2004.
His career has spanned both private practice and corporate practice in both Washington and Idaho. Aside from providing general eye care and treating vision problems he has substantial experience in co-managing refractive surgery and cataract surgery.
He enjoys opportunities to volunteer and serve in both our community and abroad. At North Idaho Eye he focuses on attentive thorough eye care for all ages. His friendly demeanor and valued experience are enjoyed by our patients and staff.
North Idaho has been his home from youth and his hobbies revolve around the local lakes and mountains with his wife and two daughters.
