
Dr. Dane Tosland received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from St. Martin’s University in Lacey, Washington. Following in his father’s footsteps, he received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pacific University College of Optometry in 2022. Dr. Tosland completed his externship training at the American Lake VA clinic near Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA.
Before completing his education, Dr. Tosland enlisted for four years in the US Air Force. During his time in the Air Force, he worked in multiple fields of medicine including family medicine, gastroenterology, sports medicine, emergency medicine, and was certified as a hyperbaric dive technician. Dr. Tosland’s military experience allowed him to travel around the world, spending time in Texas, Mississippi, California, Qatar, and Afghanistan.
Dr. Tosland is happily back near family with his wife Ericka and son Liam where he enjoys having the opportunity to care for his community. Dr. Tosland specializes in dry eye, ocular disease management, and specialty contact lenses including multiple techniques for myopia control. In his free time, Dr. Tosland enjoys snowboarding, skiing, mountain biking, and discovering new hikes with his wife and son.
