Sara Brumbach Duke, M.D. is an Idaho native. She attended Willamette University for her undergraduate degree, received her doctorate from Creighton University School of Medicine and completed her ophthalmology-surgical training at Loyola University Hospital in Chicago. Dr. Duke is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. She has experience providing medical and surgical care for eye conditions including cataracts, macular degeneration, oculoplastic/eyelid disorders, diabetic retinopathy, pterygium, uveitis and glaucoma. Dr. Duke started her career in Chattanooga, TN, and returned to Idaho in 2014 to join the North Idaho Eye Institute and be closer to family and friends. She and her husband are excited to raise their son in the mountains where they can backpack and ski. The family has also taken to boating and spend as much time on the lake as the weather allows. Dr. Duke is committed to community service, supporting the Idaho Youth Ranch and North Idaho CASA. She has also traveled internationally on a humanitarian trip to Peru.
