Certified Nursing Assistant (PRN)
The Peri Operative Assistant will perform various direct patient care activities under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, assisting with admission and discharge of the patient for surgery and laser procedures. Other duties include clerical duties, housekeeping and other non-medical functions.
Registered Nurse (PRN)
A Registered Nurse professional who is responsible for admission and discharge of a surgery patient. This includes a nursing assessment, patient teaching, evaluation of laboratory work, peripheral IV start, and pre-op medication administration if necessary. Participates with the owners and governing body of the surgery center to assure the provision of quality of care.
